  • Condition: In terms of condition I would put it as fair/good. It is complete with all 128 pages. One of the pages has old tape on it. A few of the pages have been written on in black ink. The intro page is slightly loose and is coming undone. The cover has wear along with some small stains. Please look closely at my photo's.

    Description

    Vintage piece of Black Americana. The item is a children's book from 1950. Its  title is Indigo Hill.
    This is  a fictional story of an African American family in America.
    It was written and illustrated by Eleanor Frances Lattimore. She lived in Shanghai China, from 1905 until 1934, and was a Missionary. Eleanor wrote and illustrated a total of 11 books. Most of them were children's books.
    There is a total of 128 pages. A illustration appears on every 4th or fifth page.
    The book measures 8" X 6".
