Original 1971 1972 bound edition of The News Circle Magazine, The Official Publication of the American Women's Club of Delhi published 9 times a year from Sept thru May. These are a complete run for this series beginning in September 1971 and complete to May 1972. Nicely done set from an estate collection on an American Family who lived there in those years.All 9 magazines are in excellent condition sewn into a great hardbound book with red buckram cloth & gold titles.
Book has a wealth of great culture articles, news of the day in India, advertising for a wide variety of products, calender of events & festivals. And much more.
Most notable is the well done comprehensive article of Mother Teresa who becomes Saint Teresa by the Pope in 1971. A great read and wonderful book to browse.
All in very good clean condition with great binding and hinges. Has no water damage and no musty odor.
Book measures almost 9" X 11" inches.
