    Description

    I recently purchased a large service of Franciscan Apple dinnerware at a local estate here in Central Virginia.  The beloved pattern was introduced in 1940 and features hand painted red apples, green leaves and brown twig trim.  All of the pieces in the set are in excellent condition without chips, lines, crazing.
    This auction is for a large oval turkey serving platter, measuring 19 1/8" x 13".  Although used, it is in amazing condition with just two tiny utensil marks seen when held to light.  It is marked with the Franciscan USA logo used between 1979-84 (as pictured).
