    Description

    Offered here is the very rare Franciscan Desert Rose Cigarette Box with Lid.  The box and lid together measure 3 1/4 inches by 4 1/2 inches and 2 1/4 inches in height.  This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or significant defects.  The 6th photo shows a minute pinhole void in the glaze.  This is not a chip or nick but appears to be there from manufacturing.  This piece is one of the earliest Desert Rose pieces with the popular circular "Franciscan Ware Made in California USA" indicating it was manufactured in the 1941 to 1947 period.
