    Beautiful porcelain vase with parakeets on two branches. This is a lovely example of the delicate bird designs created in Japan during the period of occupation. This one is in perfect condition, not a crack or a chip. The colors are bright and cheery, with what appears to be yellow and orange parakeets on blue trees with yellow and green flowers. The piece is roughly 6 inches by 6 inches. The mark has been traced to artist Maruyama Toki Yamashiro Ryuhei, Seto, from the Aichi province.
