Man dies after Salina house fire; sister-in-law still in critical condition, deputies say

Syracuse, N.Y. — A 95-year-old man died Monday, about a week after firefighters pulled him from a burning Salina home.
The man, Thomas Sugrue, had been in critical condition at Upstate University Hospital, according to Thomas Newton, a spokesperson for the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.
